Tsunamis often happen when the volcanoes erupts under water this causes pressure that pushes the water this creates giant waves which are called Tsunamis. Volcanoes can be at three different stages which are active dormant and extinct active meaning it can erupt at any time and dormant means asleep but can still erupt and extinct meaning unable to erupt. If you breathe in ash it can stuff up your lungs and you will choke you to a horrific but painful death. In a basic sense a volcanoes is deadly.
